Our Christmas store in Houston is thrilled to announce our first annual toy and food drive, benefiting the Katy Christmas Ministries (KCM). As a 501 C not-for-profit, they provide Christmas to over 1,000 local area children and food to 150 cars each day from Thanksgiving to the new year. We urge our Katy Christmas light clients and readers to join us in helping spread the spirit of giving this holiday season by participating in any of the ways mentioned below.
First, from November 1st to December 5th, you can visit our Houston area Christmas store located at 2900 Katy Hockley Cut off Rd to drop off a new unwrapped toy or food donation for their pantry. We will also accept gift cards and monetary donations to help cover other needs that KCM may have. 100% of all proceeds will benefit Katy Christian Ministries.
Secondly, if you are looking for a Christmas light installation in Katy, when you hire us, we will donate 10% of the cost of your Katy Christmas lights to KCM. Our team will also be happy to collect non-perishable food goods or a new, unwrapped toy of any amount when they install your Katy Christmas lights.
Consider donating your business's services or talents towards our silent auction and raffle tickets. One if the best ways to raise funds we could think of was to host a silent auction, but we desperately need items to raffle and for our auction.
Last but not least, join us on November 25th between 4:00 to 8:00 PM for our special Gift-A-Thon. Bring a new unwrapped toy and get 10% off your purchase at our Christmas store; participate in our silent auction, purchase raffle tickets for exciting prizes, and get a photo with Santa for a monetary donation. 100% of the proceeds benefit local area children. Our goal is to fill Santa's sleigh with 1,000 toys, so please help us make this happen!
